F.O.N.S.
The Friends of Newport Primary School is an organisation set up by parents to raise money
for many extra school activities and resources. The money raised has been used for new
computer programmes, books, special activity days including a Viking Day in November 2006.

Examples of events which have been organised to raise funds are craft fairs, cake sales and
childrens' discos .These events take a lot of time and effort by the parents involved and any
extra help you can give would be gratefully appreciated.
